Default Need dark lenses

Does anyone know where I can get some real dark lenses for my goggles? I don't mean just mirror lenses but goggles that are even dark from my point of view. I have smith warp stars, and I'm looking for goggle lenses with deep tint.

Great fitting, expensive, and they have a model with a photo sensitive lens.

Been using them for 2 yrs, no prob, the best!

From what I understand thet goggle companies don't sell deep tinted lens anymore DBK got one of the last pairs around here. There was a big law suite that the rider won against the goggle manufacturer and the result is the lens was deemed too dark and could impair vision in lower light situations.

I'm glad you brought it up actualy. I realized that I usualy ride better when I can't see all that well. Whenever I ride in low levels of light, say around evening or night, I'm smoother, relaxed, and almost always go faster. Why? I just realized that its because when there's alot of light I end up just starring down ruts that I don't wanna hit(yeah I know "just look up") So why not give myslef the advantage of night ridding all the time?

Madcow hit the nail on the head! If you need your bike to go somewhere...just look there. You will always follow where you are looking. They said that was part of why McGrath was so good. He always was looking to the next turn or jump before he even finished what he was doing right then. I prefer the yellow or red/orange tint in my goggles. Just work well in most situations for me.

I notice the same thing but I tried riding in sunglasses instead of goggles and started noticing that the shadows can mess with you if your lenses are too dark. It sucks for sure so I jsut go with clear or light smoke lenses. I seem to rider better with clear lenses in the afternoon while I prefer smoke lenses early in the day.

I have progrip darkened lenses and am pretty happy about it. They don't give you a darker vision but keep helping getting the sun out of your eyes.

I've been using the Scott light sens blue. I was kinda sceptical about blue at first but it really helps cut down the glare without being too dark.
