Angry Neddle E-Clips.....

     

well today i swithched oils for premix, and in the process of changine the clips positions on the needle in the Carb. i managed to drop the tiny e clip on the floor of my garage and no hardware store has e-clips small enough.

if anyone has extra tiny e clips for the needle please let me know and consider helping a fellow er out . i need this part so i can go riding on friday. if you happen to have any here is my e-mail: geometrysucs@hotmail.com

i am willing to pay for these little suckers! thx

they should call everything that is samll "jesus (insert annyong part)", ive also had a bad expericen with circlips, but i wont tell that story again...

Of course...with these big fingers I have lost more than my share. But you can get them from your local dealer faster than anyone here can ship you one. And before you check with the dealer, I am sure the floor didnt just swallow that little bugger up. Tdub

actually i think it did because i looked for almost 2 hours and couldn't find it.....

I am the same age as Tryce so I share his travails with needle clips from field and garage fiascos. As said go to the dealer of the site Tryce recommended and get a half dozen to keep put aside in a zip-loc bag.

I found a solution (that works for me) when it comes to those pesky little boogers. I use a small pair of Vise-Grip pliers to lock down on the edge of the clip BEFORE I decide to pull it off. The clip stays locked in the pliers and has always been there when I go to return it to its needle.
