See daughter Kacee (KC), age 8, riding her crf in yard..

See daughter Kacee (KC), age 8, after crashing through neighbors fence!

No tears, one cracked front fender and of course, one set of bent handle bars. I was very proud of how she handled it. Neighbor wasnt home so I just put the fence back up.

LMAO! I remember those days, somewhere my parent have videos of me riding my Suzuki LT 50 quad (yes I started on a quad) through my Grandma's fence- I only put one small crack in the plastic on the quad and the fence was fine There is also a video somewhere of me doing circles, going as fast as I could, getting smaller and smaller until I tipped over... ah the good ol days

haha!

I would have done the same thing!
If you're in need of some handle bars, I have some, or you can just go ahead an order yourself a set of the BBR handle bar kit. That way you can have a little fun on the CRF as well

I sort of know what you must be going through. I am teaching my 7 yo grand daughter and 8 yo niece how to ride as we speak. I feel a few gray hairs coming for both of us Headbanger!

One front fender = $30

One broke brake lever = $12

One broke Garage door = $100.00

The look on your kids face afterwards = Priceless

Awesome!! That huge yard and she has to ride into the fence! I like the part about the neighbor being gone so you just put the fence back up!

Thank you everyone for your many RE:'s and stories. My daughter found them to be very encouraging.

The yard narrowes behind our house and after making the same turn over and over, I think she just stopped thinking about what she was doing (to much confidence) and ran right through the fence. She said the it caught her in the chest, elbow, and shin and yet, no tears. I think she now understands why she has to wear all the gear.

It was a good learning experience.

Thanks again.
