Motoman...sorry to hear about your son's crash. I know how you feel. I was watching my son Kyle ride today and he crashed twice. Funny thing is.... these boys are tuff as nails! If only we were that tuff.

Tell him we are all proud of him being a "tuff guy!".

Cowboy, the bike is fine man.

Tore the throttle side grip a bit, but other then that it's fine, we are going to pick up a new set of grips when we get his gear.

Been there and done that! Sorry to hear this, Jim. I too have been a wreck a few times. I had a tendency to let Jordan progress a bit quick as I enjoyed watching her and of course had aspirations of her really getting into it and being the female equivalent of McGrath.
The thing that I noticed is that the motor skills of these little ones (Jordan included) allows them to fly, but their reaction time and tendency to fixate on an object led me to keep the throttle restricted on Jordans PW-50 as under normal circumstances she would do fine, until thrust into the unknown--then she simply did not know how to cope and I could not come to the rescue.
After a couple of pretty nasty crashes, I decided that the throttle would be allowed again as her overall skills were capable of it.

Glad to hear that your son came out in one piece. It is tough to see them hurting, I know. He will be back on it--and respect it now.

I know what you mean about the motor skills Tyler.

He will be flying and sometimes he will try and correct, but then he overcorrects and almost goes down. But he saves it everytime...so far.

He has respect for it, I have to really talk him along when it comes to new stuff, he just needs to pay more attention. I am just sorry he had to learn that way. But I guess we all did at some point.
