![]() Hi if a motorcycle sits for a period of time like months should it be started from time to time? A little back ground it sits in the garage it dry and safe from elements . Yamaha yz quarantine bummer. thanks |

![]() the biggest concern is the fuel. Either use an additive (stabil) or empty the tank. ---------- Post added at 11:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:52 AM ---------- Oh and I'd make sure the oil is fresh. The acid in the older oil can do what acid does. |

![]() Yes , start it once every other week. This will keep things lubricated as well as keep the seals from sticking to the water pump shaft. Use fuel stabilizer. Paw Paw |

![]() I would change the oil and filter first. Then lube it up, clean the chain and re-lube. |

![]() Been starting the bikes here every other day since pandemic quarantine. Safer to remove the gas if for longer period of sitting. |
