Well you cannot complain too loudly about that. It's a shame about the mechanical failures though.

Hughes could smoke every guy on that track with the exception of a few guys (RC, Everts, Smets maybe). Just bad luck that he had a mechanical DNF. That's racing...

Here's an interesting fact:

Not a single Kawasaki in the MXDN "A" race. That's crazy!!!

PS: Carmichael carried on and took the chequered flag 13 seconds ahead of fellow countryman Hughes. Near the end of the moto Hughes managed to pass both Ramon and Everts, completing a double win for the United States.

Note: Hughes in second, only 13 secs behind RC.

if it werent for Kevin having to work out all those last minure deals for 04 we woulda whooped em soooooo bad.
and i found out that Bubba is technicaly elligable for the Junior MXDN : but not next year

Ahh man that sucks for Hughes.. seems like he gets the raw end of a lot of sticks.

I love that guy. He is #2 for me, right behind my man K-Dub.

Guess this gives us a reason to go back next year.
