They weren't listed, but for me, it would either be Paul Turner, LRD, or ESR.

Us quad guys have to be different I guess...................:

how do you post polls? i tried to plagiarize your idea, madcow, in the ATV forum, but ican't figure out how. is there a UBB code i have to type? i tried [POLL] text [/POLL], but it didn't work. or at least i don't think so, it didn't even pop up as a new thread. :

If you own a KTM, you don't need any other kind of pipe, just a more open silencer.

Cool Re: more juice

I would have to say FMF, I don't change from stock for the power gains I do it to help tune the bike to my style of riding. (if it happens to give me more power that is just an added bonus! ) When I was racing full time I used to keep up to 3 different pipes in the trailer, depending on what type of track and track conditions I choose what I thought would be the best weapon of choice.

Anymore, I just go for the pipe that produces the best power over the widest RPM range.

Let me tell ya about my "hand made pipe"...wait a minute...you have seen and heard it. Yosh stepped head pipe with a hand made 2" mid pipe with a modified XR750 megaphone. Puts out more torque and HP than ANY other pipe I have dyno tested.
Remember the first time I started it up and you heard it?? TW

YardPro, this pipe KICKS ***!!! I was dynoing about 8 pipes one day and started to mix and match. The 450s LOVE a stepped headpipe...starts at 1 5/8" and ends up at 2.0". Yosh makes bot a stainless an Ti version. took a Supertrapp megaphone that I had modified for our KTM614 and voila!!! Sent a copy to Supertrapp to jig up but have not heard from them.
At 4000 rpm it is 4hp more than stock.
At 6000 rpm it is 3 hp more than stock.
At 8000 rpm it is 3 hp more than stock.
At 10000 rpm it is 4 hp more than stock.
Torque numbers were very impressive. At 9000 rpm it was 8ft/lbs better than stock.
