Default Mixing ratio

     

I was watching avideo on mixing ratios . He said to mix at what the manufacture of the oil u are using not what the manufacture of the bike says.
LIKE I MIX IN MY Yamaha 30. 1 on pump gas 93 what the bike manufacture says . the oil i use maxima k2 they say to mix at 24.1 to 60.1. what do u think?

Oil ratio changes almost always require jetting changes. I would use the ratios stated by the bike manufacture. Remember the bike manufacture has set the engine and carburetor jetting based on the fuel mix ratio and thus changes in that ratio can require jetting changes.

stock jetting
You can run K-2 @ 50:1 no problem due to the quality of the oil... Been doing it for years in a modified 02 cr250.
