Miss Supercross 2008 Sara Lipert

Its true Sara won! Sara will be Miss Supercross for 2008 attending every race next year!!!

I would like to express many thanks to all of you who voted for Sara Lipert.

It was very important to many of us in D-37 to vote for our home grown racer gurl. Sara started racing bikes before the modeling and pretty gurl stuff. Unlike most of the girls competing we think that gave her a leg up on the competition. The Lipert family is a great and very giving family to our sport and Sara is the most down to earth gurl you would ever want to meet. I really hope to be able to get her to come to GMB this year and take pictures with all the young ones and maybe just maybe we can get her to suit up and race the girls race.

What a cool and deserving outcome! Congrats to Sara

Oh and Dane, please let Sara know that I have room at my place for the next GMB....I'd hate for her to have to stay in a Hotel

Dane you're 100% right, Sara seems to be very down to earth and a great representative for the sport, not to mention pretty darn cute! The fact that she has been riding for a while was a definite plus... Congrats go out to her for winning the title!!

I had a chance to talk with her a bit in Vegas this past weekend and she asked if RiderDown Foundation ever held any fundraisers! Honest, she brought up the idea of helping out at some events!! How cool would that be? The GMB would be an awesome weekend.....

Here's a better shot of her at the SX Awards Banquet. And as much as I hate to say it, I bet she will be so busy next season that GMB will be difficult for her to fit into her schedule. Maybe she can since it's early October.

Just trying to be realistic.
