Bowling tourney?? By the end of day one I won't even be able to hold onto a set of bars. My forearms will be so pumped up I'll probably be able to crack walnuts with them!! How am I supposed to hold onto a 16 lb ball??

Maybe us geezers could just watch you youngsters while drinking liquid Darvon's to help kill the aching pain.

I forgot to add this info. I e-mailed the Mesquite track with a few of questions. I got a quick and friendly response from Jim with answers to my all of my questions. I wish the promoters here in SoCal were that nice.

Now I know, at least in part, why you guys want to go back there.

Yeah, they are super cool there.

As far as the bowling tournament, I would be up for bowling, but I doubt I'd be much competition, especially after riding all day.

I'm just going to go and relax. I don't remember wanting something to do when we were there. Just watching everyone (including me) lose our pants at the casino was fun enough.

I'm all for doing nothing too and it's way cheaper. I think we can just play it by ear, especially if we're going to have 30 people or so down there with kids and stuff, I don't think the nights will be quite as "friendly" as they were last time.

Yeah, that's true... I'll have my boys 1 or all 3 so that changes a lot for me.

Exactly and my wife and daughter will be with me, so I don't see me spending a lot of time in the smokey casino. But the riding and day time are going to be a blast. I think my wife is also less "social", so she'll want some time for just us as this is also a vacation for our family.

Since I know her... I think you're right. I hope not though... I hope she has a lot of fun with us. She is a very fun person to be with as long as she's happy. When she's not... well... she's not.

Don't get me wrong. I came across, not the way I had wished.

She will have a lot of fun. I just hope she lets herself. I think she will. I really like her (did I mention that I really like her? )

Back tracking now are we? I know once she meets me and the video camera in my hand she will want to be in that room for the rest of the time.

Somebody restrain Dane before he scares all the women folk away.

Well seeing as how I am a female and actually do have girl hobbies too...well...I think we might be able to come up with some convo. I look forward to meeting the wives. Also, I don't mind babysitting if you guys want to have fun. Only one problem....they will be spoiled completly by the time you get them back.

Just wondering, what do you guys do with the bikes. I really don't like the idea of leaving it unlocked on a trailer. Just buy a chain and padlock? Ideas?:

If you are on the main level you can put your bike so the back of the truck faces the rooms. I was a little nervous too, but it is really well lit and I would guess they monitor it too.

Yeah just a key and lock. We didn't even have that when we went. We forgot it.
