Long Day

I went to this big "ATV Rally" today in eastern ohio, it was a 25 mile loop in the woods, a hard 25 miles. Since it is mainly ATV trails they were extremely hard pack the first 10 miles. Well first thing my front end washed out and broke my front brake lever, I have handguards so I wasnt worried about bringing extra levers, so I went all day with no front brake. That stuff was like ice. The last 10 to 15 miles was awesome though. We did the loop in about 2 1/2 hours the first time. The SECOND time was about 2 hours. I did 50 miles of nasty woods today and I am spent!!

My first real trial ride was about 4 years ago with a group from extremedirtbike.com. They had a 15 mile loop set up with some really tight sections. I was expecting to be board, and always kinda thought that woods riding was for old guys.

Boy, did I learn a thing or 2 that day.

Next time you head out to something like that, look me up man, I would love to go play in the woods. It has been a couple years.

This was in St. Clairsville. It was a last minute thing but I will let everyone know in the future.

Motoman- I ride woods almost as much as MX, Ill let ya know when the next big trail ride is.

Motoman you can come and ride my trails...There pretty tight in places..just ask Rick..I love tight trails but I don't think Rick really believed me when I said some of it was really tight

Dustin, do that, I haven't rode a good trail ride in a long time, that would be fun. I am sure I can get a couple other willing participants to come along as well.

Matt, I am going to try and make it down yardpro's way next year, if I do, we will ALL have to get together.
