Default loctie how to remove

     

after so many times of using blue loctite . what is the best what to remove build up.

I use a dental tool to lightly scrape it off.

Acetone or MEK (Methyl ethyl ketone).

However keep it off your skin because if you don't, you will end up like "old" me.

PS....don't get it on your paint or rubber parts.

If its in fe.ale threads I run a tap through it clean it up. If on male I run a die over it.

Use a thread chase and not a tap.....A tap is for cutting new threads and a chase is for cleaning up current threads. You can do damage using a tap.

No damage done if you use your brain. Been doing it this way for years with no issues but yes a thread chaser would be best.
