Default lighting my yz

Well, this weekend I went riding in the desert which was tons of fun until night time. Some of the guys in our group went for some night rides and now Im thinking of going on some. I have an 03 yz125. I looked at the OEM style off-road light at Baja designs and Im interested in those. Can I just buy that and slap it on or do I need more stuff to make this work? thanks

Call up baja designs-they are nice people and will tell you what you will need to make this work.

Do they have just battery powered ones for like 100 to 150 bucks? I dont need anything good, just so I can see in front of me.

What mine was set up like (i'm sure it's much diff. tho) was that theres a generator between the flywheel and the piston, and it generated a voltage to power lights...no bettery needed. The lower the RPM, the dimmer the light.

zachrider......
A couple of things, it will take more money than you are talking about to properly put lights on a YZ125.
You will need the light setup and the stator wound.
Also if you are going to ride at night, don't hook up a whimpy lights. Why???, because if you can't see good, well then guess what will happen.
If you had the lights shown below, you would blow your riding buds in the weeds.
Baja designs can help you and they are very good.
