Also, I want to change my username why you are at it.. hmmm.. how about Kev_CR. Never been one to be to creative..
Khen, is that what you want, if so, let me know I can change it for ya.

If you wouldn't mind why you are at it can you change my username to sandnap (one of my favorite past-times). I promise to contribute to the forum more often.

Yes, they were fine.

I'll post up the pictures shortly. Got some really good shots actually.

Here's a link to my blog post --> Tooele UT Motocross Track (Desert Peak) Pictures

My 2 favorite shots -- maybe of all time. I just love the background.

Wow, very nice! I'm watching the weather with high hopes. I've got to get out there and try it out. Thanks for posting the pics.

No problem. Thanks for giving me the urge to get them published

Though neither of those shots show the jumps real well though. The others do.

Don't worry you can clear them. The last one pretty much no one was clearing though since it's pretty close to the corner.

Hey Woody, Finally had a chance to hit Deseret Peak today, I REALLY like the changes they've made in that rythm section. I definetly need to build up my conditioning since the winter layover though.. after 4-5 laps I could barely hang on to the bike. But it was indeed a blast!

So you are planning on coming out of retirement? Someone alert the press!

I second Kevin's comments, track was great. I just need to get my fitness up enough to handle more than three laps and still be able to hold on to the bars.

You should just pick yourself up a < $2K 250 pinger and ride when you can until you can get your dream bike. You can always get your money back out of the 250.

ha ha, that's not a bad idea about getting a pinger for now. I'll start looking and see what I can find. I really need to ride one though and see if I could even ride it.

When I rode one years ago it was pretty tough, but I wasn't very good then either. I just know I didn't like it at all and was happy to be back on my thumper.

I'll have to let you try mine one of these days on the track.. Since I've put the flywheel weight on it and rebuilt it with the HT reeds it really pulls nicely. Kind of somewhere in between a fast revving 2 stroke and a torquey 4 stroke. I like the combo!

BTW, We were out in your neck of the woods (Erda) looking at homes this evening. We're looking at a 6 acre and a 9 acre lot to build a house on. Then I'll get to build my own private track.

That would be great to ride it. Although I have ridden an '01 YZ250 and I really liked it.

Now don't go talking Erda and 5 acres on me... We have wanted to move there on some land for as long as I've lived out here. We were even going to buy land when it was 105k for 5 acres -- didn't because I just couldn't swing it, but MAN I WANTED TO!

That would be awesome! Then I could come ride it too!!!!!

Man, wish it was still that price for 5 acres..

Although the 9 acre lot is a pretty sweet deal at $250K including the well and septic. By the time I put a house on it though I'm going to be house poor.. But I'll have a track in my back yard Maybe I'll let people ride it if they give me a gallon of gas for my bike, or a can of food or something.

I can bring some food for the cause for sure... Maybe even an energy bar too

Yeah, that's crap. 250k for 9, and 200k for 5??? I'd go for the 9 for sure... Just make sure you are either next to the road or speak the neighbors first. You wouldn't want to make enemies in your first week

haha.. yeah, bring me an energy bar, maybe I can get a few more laps in before I tire.

That's my main concern though with the neighbors, I'd definitly talk to them first and not ride to late/early, maybe even get quiet silencers for all the bikes/quads.
