Default KTM Which One Would You Buy?

If you were to buy a ktm would u buy either the 250sx or the 450sx for trail/moto? The 250sx is a 5 speed but a 2 stroke. The 450sx is 4 speed as a downfall. So that kinda turns me off that they have to have a 4 speed. As a result would u guys either buy the 450exc and just convert it into the motocrosser buy making a few adjustments and taking off the lights in order to make moto worthy. As a result it would be a 6 speed witch is better for trail, but will it work better than the 4 speed 450sx for motocross? Just wondering. If u were to buy a ktm and ride both rail and motocross what would u buy? Or would u buy the 250exc and just take to lights off for motocross and as a result it would have lights and spark arrester for trail if u wish to ride that.

What would u do? Would u get the pinger (EXC/SX) and make the adjustments u need to do or, get the 450EXC or 450SX?

The 06 KTM 250SXF is supposed to be the best in class out of all the 250f's......so I would get that.

Are you talking about an '06? I'd look real hard at XC. They don't have the MXC anymore, and I'm not sure how the XC compares. The MXC has a 6 speed, as does the '06 XC. But the real question is how much moto vs trail do you do? Also, what kind of trail? Either way, I'd probably go with the 450SX. You can live with a 4 speed. And on the track it'd be great. Just my 2cents.

probly 85% trails i would do. yea and im still wondering if a 250f is gonna be to small for me, meaning will i be bored with the power and result in me wishing i bought the 450 or 250sx and/or just modding the crap out of it. But i guess i will never know what until i test drive a 250f a 250 and a 450f. Then ill be able to make an assesment on what i want more. My brother is buying a yoshi z450 kit and is gonna mod the crap out of his z, its gonna have like 45-47 horsepower or something. So will a 250sx-f keep up? or will the 250sx or 450f be a better option. Also when i buy a dirtbike i will have turned 18 years old, are there many 18 year olds who ride 250fs or are they all riding the 450s and250 pingers. BTW im 6' and i weigh about 160 pounds. What do u think? And also if u think about it if u are gonna buy a 250f or 250 2 stroke or 450f they are all very close in price. My dad may not see a point in getting the 250f because ull just upgrade sometime anyways and the 450f or 250 2 may be better bang for the buck. All the questions.
