knee braces?

just saw these new EVS Vision braces anyone know anything about them. My brother has the Web braces and they are kinda bulky and uncomfortable...not to mention expensive. These "Vision" braces are only supposed to be $250 for the PAIR insted of each like the Web. Any input?

I cannot personally tell you about the EVS Vision braces but I do wear the EVS RS-6 braces and I can tell you that any brace is going to feel uncomfortable at first especially if your not use to wearing any "Real" braces.
I could hardly wear my braces at first, now I can't get on a bike without them.............feel kinda naked without them.
I'm about to purchase a new set so I am also looking at all the manufactures now trying to decide on which brace to get.

MXA just did a review on them in their final raitings they said "We like the vision knee braces and we like the price. No, Virginia it isn't a full blown knee brace, but it does offer some of the protection of a custom knee brace at an affordable price." That is in the March issue on page 156.

yeah I actally didn't mind my brothers EVS Web braces that much, but like you say it just takes getting used to. I really should wear braces...like many of us I'd really be up a creek if I blew a knee out and wasn't able to work.
