Default Incredibly noobie question

I just oiled up my filter and its ready to go. I cannot fit it in the airbox! I mean I got it in there before but for some reason I just cannot get it. I thought about taking the filter guide off but then how would I get it back on?

Are you just having trouble getting the bolt to screw in or something? I had that problem with my air filter when I first got it, but I figured out that I just had to push hard to bend the center of the filter a little so the bolt would thread on. Have you had any problems with this before?

If you're having a hard time getting the filter into the airbox, try turning it 90 degrees, slide it in, then turn it back the way it should be. Getting the bolt lined up just takes practice, as does getting the filter in easily. Hope this helps.

Definitely turn the filter sideways to get it in the air box. I haven't heard of any filter thats too wide to fit in an air box longways
