wanted to try out my winter jetting today so i hit up my cousin's track. he sold his bike so the track is pretty un-manicured at the moment. big mistake going for the rythm section. first table was smooth, hit the double after it like i have a hundred times but this time i don't even know what happened but i started front flipping off the bike, at one point i actually saw the bike behind me a thought for sure it was gonna cartwheel into me. god my shoulder hurts, to make it worse i broke my own rule of never riding alone and i had to load the bike up myself which hurt so bad i almost passed out. now im home typing with one hand and hoping i don't need surgery. on a lighter note the jetting was right on. i really don't want to go to the hospital.

i think im gonna change my signature too, it just doesn't have the same ring it used to

i know i should but i can still move my arm normal it just hurts. plus i don't have insurance and i can't afford to pay 400 dollars for a doctor to tell me he can't do anything for it.

Seriously, get that shoulder looked at even if it is at a clinic. Maybe Keetoman will see this, he has been fighting a bad shoulder for a while. If any members are in your area we can get you some assistance, you are part of a family here.

I'm just glad you got it looked at and that it isn't serious. We like our members mobile and ride ready here I through in the RD info in case you had a serious injury, Several of us are members there and they took part in the GMB this year. I just wanted you okay and covered.

well today my whole body aches pretty bad but my shoulder is a little more limber. i wanna thank everyone for their concern.

Florida: yeah i had heard of the riderdown before but this is the first time i'd ever checked out the site and read some of the stories, those are some amazing people, everyone involved in the operation. I think that is one of, if not the, biggest and best part of the motorcycle community is how well they watch out for their own.

Seriously, I am a firm believer in going to the hospital after a big wreck. (Even though I probably should have after my concussion at Washougal last year) It helps alot, because if they dont specialize in that kind of injury, they will point you to the best place that will

I took a better look at the iron steed today, turns out the left side radiator is bent up pretty good and the front brake resivoir (sp?) is cracked. I started it and let it warm up and the radiator doesn't leak so i think it should be ok for the time being, but i'll probably get one in the spring.

I tracked down a front brake assembly off a 426- a steal at $15, its even got a shiny blue top on it. Then i bent the handle bars back using the poor man's handlebar straightener-laying the bike over and standing on it, anyway it'll be back together before i can ride again

= if you can't ride you might as well wrench on it thats my philosophy.
