I don't know how many of you have ever watched Canadian Motocross racing, but it's second to none. Talk about bar banging, and rubbing elbows. The Canadian version has plenty of it. GREAT racing my great white north brethren! The only racing I've seen that was better was the Australian Masters, which was absolutly AWESOME! Check it --> Here

Downloading now! Speaking of the Aussie SX Master's series, I am going to the Brisbane round on Sat night! Can't wait! We have great seats at the front where the triple will be placed! I am gonna try and remember to take my video camera!

I've watched the last two rounds, very good stuff. I enjoy the racing(imagine that) and the announcers seem to enjoy their job and be into it. I would rather watch the Canadian rounds than the snooze feast we have here in the motocross class, the lites class has some excitement still.

I have to agree. The announcers seem to really know who the riders are, and yes, they do get excited. I also really like the acronyms they use. Some of them are pretty funny.

I agree Woody....the racing is full on and the tracks are usually nice and rough. This is the way I remember motocross being....guess that is why I watch the Canadians but have not watched a single AMA National this year.

Hey T2, what format did you use so the DVD player would read them? I plan on doing that for the entire SX and MX season's along with some others.

I have some good tapes of the all races a few years ago, JS Roy, what a great rider.

Woody - I first record everything to DVR on my TiVo. Then, I just play it back and capture it on my DVD recorder. Not sure which format it is in.

Satch makes a good point. I would rather miss an AMA Nat than miss the Canucks. The entertainment level is just way high.

answered my question...You just need a DVD writer on the OLD PC and I know Nero will make a playable TV DVD out of most video formats, but it takes awhile to convert it and create the DVD. The Canadian rounds are high quality and transfer good to DVD. The one hour shows that are around 350mb are ok...750mb size looks good on the TV. Last edited by DPW; 07-27-2006 at 06:47 PM.

I take the easy way out.........record from the PVR to the "home" dvd recorder. That frees up the computer the help me pad my post count
