My Sidi boots did their job and I'm extremely happy to come out of my crash with only a broken Fibula. But the bruising is extensive and I walk very slowly. My ankle actually hurts worse than my leg where the bone is broken.: Pretty much constant pain but I'm still mobile. Dr. Mark says I should be back to riding within a month. I'm thinking that's pushing it but it sounds great if I can stand it!

Good luck on a speedy recovery with those toes. I've been in the same position with a minor fracture. A month sound about right. Again, good luck.

I did that almost exactly a year ago. My foot looked just like yours. I was racing a couple of weeks later. I didn't have anything broken, just a lot of soft tissue damage. Advil is your friend. And the Sidi's are the bomb.

BTW, the next stage is a really nice Kawasaki Green. When you get back to Honda Red you will know that you are ready to ride again.

I broke my fibula playing hockey and it was pretty nasty. I didn't realize i broke it.. thought it was just bruised. After a few days, it didn't go down so i figured i may as well go see a doc. I liked the temporary handicap parking perks..
