Smile I guess Tedesco just confirmed it.

Looks like Hot Sauce will in fact be taking Tortelli's place for Team Makita Suzuki.

What are his post-Glen Helen plans? "I'm just going to concentrate on the des Nations for now, ride my same bike, go over there and win, and then try to take a vacation for a week. As soon as I get back, I'll start plugging away and start riding yellow."

. . . and so it begins. The great battle for dominance as foretold in the days of the kings: "The Red and Blue shall be consumed by the Yellow."

'06 is going to be a great year.

Loki, wake up dude. That had to be the worst kept secret in MX. I'm waiting to see his new AMA number.

Tortelli is going back to Europe to try his hand at the GP's. He'll probably sweep the series.

I heard rumors he was talking to Suzuki, but nothing saying it was for sure. I pretty much figured he'd see the light.

What were his options? Wait in line for a 450 like Bubba.
No thanks, I'll go to a factory that has actually raced a 450. I'm a Tedesco fan and everything but let's be honest. What does Suzuki really expect from him next year. Who else is out there? If I had to pick a new guy and actually have to pay him, I think I'd take my chances with Short or Hepler or even try to retread Langston.

Are you saying Suzuki shouldn't go with Tedesco?

No, I'm saying who else could they get? If you look at who is available and the results they have gotten, Tedesco is definately the best guy out there. Do you see ANY rider coming out of the 125's that could actually podium next year in SX or MX?

If you have a chance to sign a reigning indoor and outdoor champ, you do it. Plus if Ricky can coach him and teach him a few things he could be a future big boy champ...

06 Supercross looks stacked if everyone stays healtly.

I think Suzuki made a good choice picking him up. I like to see the change ups every year.

But he's not riding for the factory eh... interesting. I think he's got what it takes if he could get the ride.

I agree. He's the strongest finishing privateer and has showed plenty of speed. I am going to make a prediction and say Kawasaki recruit him for next year to ride the KX450F.

Btw, does anyone know what Byrne is doing? How long does he have left with Kawasaki?
