| Ok, time to put my bike all back together again, but I don't have a new top-end bearing, and all of the motorcycle shops are closed today.. I have today off, but have to work tomorrow.. So how do I know if my top-end bearing is ok or not.. I know I should replace it, but I want to get it all back together today.. arrgh. |

| they only cost about $10.00 . it's cheap insurance. if you want to risk it there should be specs in your book for it |

| I've been told never to put an old bearing back on. Like the others have said, $10.00 is cheap insurance compared to $100's of dollars if the bearing goes bad. Is there a way to test it. None that I know of. |
