Default Hey everyone! Been awhile.

So... I've been gone a while.

After a very long time away from the sport I'm considering getting back in, however probably not like what many of you may think. Would like to get into some local vintage classes, however having a hard time finding a bike I can work with.

I'm looking for a 1988 or a 91 yz250. These are by far my primary choices, however I would consider anything in between. I know there are drastic differences between the 2.

I'm posting this here for visibility. If a mod wants to move it, go for it.

I hope everyone is well! We will be talking soon!

Jim,

Great to see you back!

Here’s what you should do first, go to a local Vintage race & find out what they run for classes.

Find out there rules & see how that might be different from AHRMA.

I’ll shoot you a few links for Vintage, Evolution & Decade bikes for sale.

You need to get in touch with Vintage Dave as he knows some of the Facebook sites.

Didn’t know you took a break from riding, but welcome back and have fun!

Let’s see, “not what we would think” I guess that means building a SX track in your front yard.

Hey Big Jim, hope you are doing well these days. Vintage class huh? Want to buy the stuff to build a 73 Maico 400 radial?

Bill
