Well,

That sucked, I was in pre op in a bed with an iv all ready to go. Then the surgeon came & told me that some special equipment didn’t show for him.

So he canceled the surgery! It’s now on hold, waisted half the day.

Surgery now on hold.

I can't tell you how many time I have been through this type junk with my doctors over the years. It is to the point where I expect it every time and am suprised when the scheduled procedure goes off as scheduled. One 15 min procedure had me prepped for over 8 hours before it was done and then it was botched and had to be redone.

Well Gang,

I got a call from the Doctor's office staff & the surgery is reset for Monday the 18th @ 12:30

It's about a 5 hr surgery! So it won't be until Tuesday that I have the wife post a report.

BTW: Friday I'm going to call the Surgeons office & double check to make sure all their Ducks are in a row!

Thanks!

I'm not looking forward to being in pain again, This is a major reconstruction of my Wrist that didn't heal right the first time.

Plus they are going to take a bone graph from my hip, don't know what will hurt more the Hip or the Wrist??

Well gang,

I’m at home, surgery went well. They did the bone graph & closed up the non union joint.

They also replaced the broken titanium plate with a larger stainless plate & fixed thr carpel tunnel syndrome.

The loose joint behind my pinkey was looking good & the Surgeon said now the the Wrist is aligned it should heal up on it’s own,so no 2nd surgery is planed at this time.

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers.
