Default Hello, and thanks to all.. introduction

First, I would like to say thank you to the you to the moderators of this site. I did a Google search looking for fork rebuild info and came across . I have been a daily visitor sense that time and have learned a great deal from all of you.

Now a little about myself. I am 38 and have been on, mostly Yamaha, dirt bikes all of my life but never competitively. I am married now for 13 years to a woman who still excites me and we have two really great daughters. One of which is developing her ridding career at the moment.

I live in Topeka, KS with only a few run down ridding areas available but do my best to keep active usually riding a couple times a week. I don’t like the mud and hate to crash so prefer to avoid from both.

I bought a mostly stock 2002 YZ 250 in ‘05 except for Race Tech Gold valves and Applied clamps and bars. I have put many other after market parts on the bike and now that there is way more money in it than what it is worth, I consider it my perfect, dream, ride. It is very fast, at least faster than I am, and I feel great ridding it! I know its not the latest and greatest but.. GO Yamaha!

Full Race Tech suspension including Gold valves and sprung to my weight
Wiseco piston
V-Force 3 reed valve
Magura hyd. clutch (you should have one of these)
Galfer wave rotors - Front is 270 mm full floating, Rear is standard
Applied clamps and bars
ProCircuit Works exhaust
JD Jets - Thanks JD for solving ALL of my jetting issues!
Excel rims
IMS Pro Series foot pegs
One Industries Alpha series graphics
Lots of misc. Works Connection guards

I use mostly Thor gear
Boots this year are the new SIDI SRS "Crossfire”

Thanks again to all of you.

Gary “Head Banger” Miller

Here are a few pics of my steed (hope this works).

My YZ and my daughter Kacee's (KC's) CRF mini.
