interesting but I'm sure it will fail...who wants to take a chance with something as expensive as a new bike? not me. I love my country but American made products, iPod, all GM vehicles, are sadly crap now and days. It's embarrasing. Only thing I can think of being of good quality made in america is firearms.

I happen to really like my Chevy truck, and my iPod Nano, almost as much as I like my Springfield Armory 1911A1.

Many Honda/Acuras, Nissan/Infinitis, and Toyota/Lexus are built in America with more than 50% American made parts and are considered by the US government domestic American made. And they are the three most dependable auto brands for the last several years. Goldwings are made in Marysville OH. And 30 to 40% of all the parts in any GM, Ford, or Dodge come from other countries. Many GMs and Fords are made in Mexico or Canada but the US government still considers them American made and does not put any import tax on them.

Back to the original subject, if Buell does the rest of the bike for Harley they may make it. The new Rotax powered Buell sport bike looks pretty nice. It was always close, just the old Sportster engine dragged it down.

Leroy, check cyclenewsonline.com. It is where all us insiders get our information.

Darn, I am going to be in town next weekend and you are going to be gone.

"B" if you bought a new generation springfield 1911 anything, it wasn't made here. (Neither is mine but I still like it.)

It looks pretty good. Sure would like to see the inside.

Jeeze...If I knew you were coming I would have not gotten wrapped up in a bunch of commitments. Ratz

Update....
You down here for an airplane or a vintage bike or both?

I think this is going to be pretty cool. Finally, you will be able to see broken down harleys on something else than the side of the road

Yep lol, we just make junk here anymore. Just look at how the quality of teenagers has dropped!!! Just kidding, I know we all were accomplished angels in our day too haha.

Leroy,

I am coming the land of heat and smog for a family reunion (wife's family, mine is smart enough not to have one during king salmon season). Saturday I am in San Diego for the Padres and Philadelphia. Then I am gone after spending sunday with "them".

Andy, if it was not for Laguna Seca, Duhamel/Zempke/Hayes/Edwards/Rossi/Bostroms/Roberts/Spies/Mladen/Capirossi/Stoner and free tickets, I would be in san Diego to visit you.
Going north in 1 hour.
