Default The hail storm

Last week my town, Gladstone, had the biggest hail storm recorded in Australia... and at that time i happened to be out riding.
Lets just say it was a scary and bruising experiance, i had to ride 5km though hail to get home.....
When it started i heard this big crack on my helmet and i didnt know what was happening.
No damage to bikes though, but my friends brand new fairlane car got smashed up.

Wow man. All I can say is WOW. Last year it was hailing horribly at my house and I couldn't even bring myself to run out in it to put my truck in the garage. Luckily my good old Chevy survived with only 1 dent amazingly. Every other car in the neighborhood was trashed. Glad to hear you and the bikes made it back safely.

I guess you could call me a pansy but I was standing on my porch and it sounded like WW2 was happening in my backyard. I wasn't about to step out into that nastiness.

I know man it's all good. I like to get a little friendly flaming going on every once in a while. Nothing anyone says on the internet really bothers me unless it truely is a personal attack and i actually know the person. So feel free to point and laugh.

Hey, I remember that! We practically had to replace most of our roof. Well, not really, but we had to get alot of roof repair after that storm. Not to mention, on some parts of our fence, there are still marks from where the hail hit it. I was home alone that night, and it sure did sound like WWII.

...Imagine someone getting caught in that storm on their bike in the middle of no where. :
