hah i got the scott mx2! had a lil bit of a pain putting the friggin left side on , so i said screw the glue for right now, i was trying to see something first putting them on without glue ( never again) once i loaded the throttle tube with glue she slipped on easier than anything. i left the non throttle side without glue for now as it is so tight i cant even turn the thing ( i dont ride in rain cold or any of that) yes red mx2 scott grips, they look very nice on my honda. red renthal bar pad, red grips red plastic, black radiatior shroud whit frame lol

well, your going to want to put some grip glue on the left side. 4th tapped going up horsepower hill on an 85 with your grip comming off is not a verry fun expierence.

yup, it's supposed to be like that. So it wont come off when u put grip glue.
one sudgestion whial putting on your grip. spray a little WD-40 inside it, just a little squirt, than put the grip glue on and push it on, it'll help it out a little bit

i would use alcholol because it dryes right out after you put it in, or hairspray because after it dries it becomes sticky unlike a lubricant that stayes sticky.
