Default Getting hard to wait!

I went to the shop today and sat on a 2005 CRF450 , man I cant wait! We are talkin "WOOD" for a month. I cant believe how light it feels, my 1985 RM 250 sure as hell didnt feel that light. Then again I was only 135lbs back then compared to my 160 lbs now...ok 165..haha. My toes barely touch the gound. Im only 5'6" and a half...don't forget that 1/2" without it I would have to do single leg starts.

Another $1000 and 5 months and I'm on that baby!

No way, never owned a Yammy , never will...sorry, personal preference. I will never dog anyone that does have one or likes them, Yammy makes good stuff. I just have a thing about em....kind of like Ford, Chevy and Dodge guys, once they have their mind set on a manufacturer everything else sucks.

Well, I have the 2k I wanted for a down payment, 4 months a head of schedule, but I cant see buying until March at least, so Im gonna keep saving. The more money the better for the down payment. Plus I want to read RMZ reviews first, just in case.

Good luck waiting, i know its hard. I waited 5 months for my '05 250 to come. It's heartbreaking seeing it at the dealer just sitting there.

Trust me...part of the MX thing is having people ooooh and ahhhh over your bike (cuz they surely don't do that over my riding). Showing up with an RMZ450 would make you a very popular person!

I'm more worried about it staying in one piece and not ending up costing me more in repairs then its worth. If it handles VERY WELL I will really think about it but if it has problems in the handling area forget it. It's already to tall for my short legs.

I think I'd rather have them oooh and ahhh over my umbrella girl.

Speaking of ooohing and aaaahing at new bikes Satch, that's a nice expansion chamber you've got on that 05 - did you keep the old one so's you can ride a thumper from time to time?

I called my local shop today, he's got a couple CRF450's. He doesn't know when the RMZ will be in and the first two are already sold, thats nuts. Looks like the RMZ is going to be a hot ticket. I don't know that I'd buy one sight unseen with no reviews or shootouts yet to know what the strong and weak points of the machine are.
