Default Fun day!

went riding on one of the more tecnical trail in mi, and it was a sloppy mess. trail covered in water, and that was covered in leaves. I got soaked. fell 3 times. on my front end hit a loose rock and washed out throwing me on some rocks and a log. another, i was going at a tree, and locked my front end up (yes i paniced) and my bike just launched me off. and another i came up on 2 wet logs. and went at them on a angle, did see them so my bike slid out and i fell. then i tried to give it gas and push it over, and the back end sliped off and the spinning tire hit me in the knee. not bad though. considering out 0f 10- the traction rating was a .2. I'll get some pics up later, just some of me on this rutted hill, where the rut is about at my head.

where was my invitation? jp. we went to evart. rode with the owner of a local kawi shop (treads and sleds). well didn't really ride wiht him, he was with a friend, but we stoped and talked while he waited for his friend. Motoman have you ever ridden at evart? if not then that's a trail that is really for "old guys". yea i read your post on how you thought trail riding was for old guys. lol, jp. the only bad thing about when we ride, is that i have a summer more experience than my dad. i started last year, he started this. well i dont' like to lead, bc i always get far ahead, then i wait for him and i always think, he prolly hit a tree, adn then that thought just keeps running throught nad then yea. but i can't ride good behind him, bc sometimes on the hilld that go right into a 1 foot high straight up tree root, he'll fall and i have to slam on my brakes. so i can't really ride atmy full potential behind him. but i'd rather ride a little slower, than always be worrying. there's a funny story about my worry wart, but it's a long one so i'll save it for a better time.

I said I USED to think it was for old guys, that is until I rode a 20 mile loop. Now I know better.

lol , i know. some arn't bad, like little "O" is liike 47 miles, but it's not hard. quads can go down it. we can ride 10 miles at a time. where trails like evart, every 3 miles or fall we take a rest.
