Default Friend Wrecked

My friend last night bought a KTM 125 that has a bunch of cool upgrades. What happened to him is not. He just got out and started to ride it out at are neighbors track. We were switching off and both were getting the feel of the bike because he is going to start racing and I have to be his mechanic. Anyway I just gave him the bike back after having a blast and he does 1 lap and then on his next he went off a 40 footer in first gear not wanting to acutally jump it just to plop it. His bike fliped and he flew off. He landed on his wrist and broke it. Oh it looked so bad. What made him have this happen is he rushed ad he just wne t form a TTR- 125 to a SX 125 race bike.

Experience is a tough teacher. Just make sure he gets back on and keeps riding it'll do his wrist good

Ya I got ya. Because my little 230 to that 125 was a huge change. He just went off that jump in first and the powerband must have hit right on top of the jump. The dirt bike didnt even get a scratch except it got alittle dusty. Pretty amazing what them bikes can take.

Guys. I just called his mom to hear more about it. He has two broken arms. One thats not as bad as the other. Then another that requires a full cast. Man he messed up. But I asked his mom if he said he well ride again. He said there is not way I am quitting riding because of this.

Sorry to hear about your friend bro, that sucks!

However, good to hear he won't give up riding because of it.

Glad to hear he's ok and not quitting. I think he needs to take more time and learn the powers of the bike before attempting the big stuff.

Like the others have said, accidents can happen with bad results.

You have to be 100% committed to what you are doing. Sometimes, you're not focused when the task doesn't seem so large and that's when you get hurt.
