Fox and O'Neal make excellant riding gear.

I like Fox's Airframe chest protector for comfort.

I think HJC is excellant on helmets.

Fox's 360 line up is top notch stuff, you cannot go wrong there.

I don't think I have ever owned anything that was made by O'Neal.

any brand is nice, they all make a range of stuff. thier high end stuff is all comparable. i will say though that the thor core5's i just bought are not as nice IMO as the fox 360 or no fear electron.

FOX!! There gear is top notch. I have the proforma boots and they are sweet! O'neal makes nice gear also, but I'm a little ticked off with them lately. Their customer service is none existant. I purchased 2 new Azonic ASX helmet (O'Neal) this year (one was stolen) and I broke a visor. It's been over a month now and they still do not know when they will get the replacements in. The worst part is trying to get them to even respond to you.
I have a new set of O'Neal element gear, got a deal on it for $90 through Motorcycle USA. I do like it, but not sure I'd buy anything else from them. I put value in good customer service and O'neal get's no points from me.

I agree FOX is top notch. So far my No Fear stuff is holding up pretty well also. The only complaint I have with them is the gloves have ripped already and they only have a few rides on them.

I don't like the oneal gear.i go through it quicker than any other brand.

Hear is what i run
helmet=Shoei( great helmet but exspensive)

jersey+pants=Fox 360 (So far so good only been 2 months but looking good.My oneal would have at least one tear by now)

Gloves=AXO vortex(Since i've got these i wear nothing else comfortable and last along time.)

Boots=Alpinestar tech8(Great boot i think the best boot out there!!)

I just ordered new Thor Core 5 pants and jersey. I had/Oneal Method pant and jersery combo but after GMB II both are history! (ouch).

The Oneal stuff lasted me a year of riding though. Went with the Core 5 cuz I got the 2003 pant and jersey for $99!

Great deal Satch! What happened to your Oneal clothes? I have had mine for over a year now and no sign of wear/tear on anything.

I have had Answer, Bieffe, Thor, Hebo (Gas-Gas) and now Oneal and I have had good luck with every one of them. I guess it's just a matter of what you like best or what you can get a good deal on.

Keetoman, I crashed in the first moto of the o/35 and tore my pants and jersey! Got a nasty bruise on my right knee and a few scrapes but nothing bad. The gear is toast though.

Unless you are recieving money or
free gear I haven't heard any real difference.
I wear O'neal 'cause of the sizes available.
I wear 42-44 pants and a 4X jersey.
I also have a Thoe Phase 3 pants(44) and
3X jersey, had to make it a 3/4 sleeve but
they both are comfortable are holding up.
The price is another huge factor. I visited the
the sponcer Motowolrd.com Thor pants $40
and jersey$22 I couldn't go wrong. The O'neal
set Element pants, jersey, gloves, and boots
(size 15) was less than $200 shipped to my door.
The boots are very comfortable and more than
1/2 the price Fox Forma Pro which in a 15 was my
only other choice. Once this stuff is worn out
I may look to Moose Racing or MSR again for size
reasons and price. So shop around, find the
best price you can. It's all good.

THOR and FLY are my favorites Fox makes nice stuff, but IMO it's overpriced, overhyped, and the name has lost some credibility (at least in the US) because all the trashy skateboard punks and losers buy Fox stuff at various stores in the mall now.
