finally got to practice today...

i finally got to put the new rubber to the test at the local MX track with the bikes. everyone rode very responsible and no one was hurt. this was amazing considering track conditions. rough and soft. to soft. i was on the blaster and even got to ride a 250r(bike) awesome!! didnt ride long, no balance thing on two wheels ate me up. i preffer four for racing. well there is a saying from one of you guys...kepp the rubber side down. i didnt. for the first time i flipped my quad bad. suprisingly nothing was hurt. it rolled like three times and stopped on the side on my foot. when it was upside down i didnt even notice i was in for, i rode it out till i noticed i was looking at my cousin upside down. it was a fun wreck to say the least. we were racing with a KTM 420, i think thats what it was, and i got tangled in my cuzes LR and ran the burm... i'm ok. sore though. there were about 35-40 bikes that put on an excellent show for the small crowd. i never saw the true skill in the riders till today. knew it was tough to do the things they do but wow. you "bikers have my ut-most respect.

I went up and rode a Brown Camp for 4 hours today. Talk about a mess. My normal trails were so rutted out. I wouldn't mind if I was on a dirtbike. The quad wasn't having it. I got high centered so many times. I had to lean over my bars going backwards down this one trail, just to keep from flipping. I gave up on those till this summer when they're nice and worn in. I did take care of the big puddle in front of one of the jumps.

I was telling my buddy to watch out for retards coming down the roads while we were eating lunch, and how I'd never been there without seeing someone crash. All of a sudden. Right in front of us. Bam!!! Retard 1..2..3 showed up on top of each other and in pieces. No rangers there at all. Lucky for them. Nobody was seriously hurt. It's a long wait for medical to come in from Banks.

My baby is already clean too. I stopped off at work on the way home, and pressure washed everything in the storage lot.

I want my local spot back open. Jones Creek. Have to wait till April though. At least the locals keep the trails in good order, and it's not as crowded.

i tried the trails today to and had the same problem. i think a good HARD rain might smooth them out a little. i havent ran a hare scramble yet but am looking forward to the first at our local "olympics" twards the end of the year...supercross,hare scramble, and then MX. 3 days of racing straight. i cant wait.

the flip wasnt so bad, it helped work out a kink i had in my neck and loosend me up a little. for kicks, i may go flip before every race so i ride better, LOL jk
