Default A few Q's about Boots

Im trying to decide between either Oxtar http://www.oxtar.com/eng/index.html , Gaerne Sg-10's, or Sidi. What do you guys recomend? I havent heard much about the Oxtar's. Also how do you keep boots clean and looking new? I would like to get some off of ebay..."new in box" deal, soo i might end up w/ a white pair and im wondering if there is any any way to keep them white in the Evergreen State

Thanx
Jeff

Jedi has a pair of sidi's and loves them...at least, I'm pretty sure he does. Maybe he'll see this thread and chime in on it.

No boot will protect you from injury 100%, but my Sidi's are the best boot I've ever worn. They have paid for themselves several times over.
I fully believe the SG-10's are an equally well-made boot and offer just as much protection. My son wears them and they have paid for themselves as well. You can't go wrong with either one.
The hinged ankle on both offer very little break-in time.

I'm a fan of the Tech 6 as well. If you didnt know, I ate it pretty bad last april and really messed my knee up, I thought for sure, how i cased the jump that I would have a broken ankle, but i walked away from it, for a couple steps atleast before the knee gave out.
P.S. I was in the lead

Flex Force. About 2 years old now and still holding up well. And I ride a TON! Sidi sends replacement parts with your order. Snap rings for the hinge and stuff like that.
