Unhappy Feeling Bad

I went racing Saturday at a local race. I race the xc races. There is one thing that has been bothering me. Our series runner let kids race with us. Not that I dont think kids should race but to make a class 12-15 C race with us. All but one of them was either a 85 or 100 It turned into a bad idea. I had caught most of the young racers on the second lap. And went around them no problem. Then I was going up this long hill and then bam. One flipped I hit his bike wfo in third. There was no were for me to go. I threw my bike down to see if he was ok. He was but I broke his bike bad, ripped seat, broke radiator, bent bars, etc. I have felt like crap since then. Do you think he should have aloud them to ride with us or let them run a seperate race. Thanks feeling bad.
Sorry so long.

Dang that does suck... I'm not sure what I think. Seems like it would be a better idea if they did let them race their own class though. 16 and over, and anything less, gets it's own class.

Thats what I thought to. 16 or older has always raced with us but I think he went a little overboard this time. I just still cant believe I hit a kid it makes me sick. I know its racing but man if I would have hit him straight on with my bike it may have killed him. He flipped right in front of me.

I don't think it makes much difference, you see the same things happen in most classes. Sometimes these things just happen. I wouldn't feel too bad about it, although it doesn't change the fact that it's no fun to be involved in anything like that.
