Default Feel like a kid waiting on xmas morning

My new cylinder is supposed to be here today. It's been out for delivery since 5:30 am. As usual, whenever I order something, it will show up right before I have to go to work. We have a heat wave going on here for the next few days. So, I might be working on my bike in the living room.

I found another 2001 cylinder with the PV's included on ebay, and got it for $300. I know replating would have been better, but more hassle too. I now have a extra jug to toy with when I have the extra cash to throw at it. I'm probably going to bore it for the dunes. Then I can just swap them depending on where I'm riding.

Dont kid yourself :-). once you have it oversized and replated you aren't going back.

That may be the case, but I've never needed anymore power riding in the trails. I figured I could toy with a big bore a bit, and see how I like it. I might be kiding myself, but I'll have to make that decision when the time comes.

Hahaha, how funny. I had a parts delivery today too!

New sprocket and chain set, rear tire, and a couple t-shirts.

Anyway, I just use my work address for deliveries because I'm here, not at home, all day. Works out pretty well for me.

I'm always watching the delivery tracking page like an anxious kid whenever a package is on the way too, hahah.

Still nothing, and I leave for work in 45 minutes. I hate waiting for deliveries. I even took my kid to the pool for a hour trying to kill time.

I'm fairly certain that the tracking page is just another form of torture.

Hope your parts show up soon.

Me too. I look pretty rediculous riding my sons KTM 50 around the neighborhood trying to get my fix.

That will be cool! If you can belive it, I went riding after work today. It was 104 on the way up there, but once we got a little altitude below us, it cooled down to around 90. A friend of mine took us out to some trails not too far from Jone's Creek. It was a blast. We rode for about two hours. Be sure and let us know how the big bore kit goes

Well, my stuff showed up as I was headed out the door last night. Used cylinder looks good. I just need to put everything back together, and pick up some engine ice. Doesn't look like I'll be able to ride for at least 2 weeks. Unless I can get out of camping this weekend. Is the wifes idea, not mine.

Where are you going camping. We went out to Cape Dissapointment near Long Beach, WA last weekend. Very nice place to camp, and from what I understand it is the most popular state campground in Washington, but it all depends on what you like when you go camping.

We usually go up to Goose Lake area in the Gifford Pinchot national forest. Not sure where we'll end up this time. My wife is making all the arrangments. We tent camp in areas that don't allow RV's. As long as I can throw a line in the water, and have a few beers I'm happy.

Our vacation in August is going to soak me. So, I'm letting her do everything if she wants this trip.
