Usflag Engine braking?


Could someone explain exactly how to avoid engine braking my 2stroke? I keep reading how engine braking is bad for a 2 stroke but canít find any articles on how to avoid doing it. Dont rip on me to hard itís my first bike. Thank you in adavance.

Pull the clutch lever in when breaking. ( but 2 strokes don't really have much engine braking anyway.)

I can't see engine braking being bad for any dirt bike, not sure where you heard that from. It's just a natural part of how the engine operates. And, as PawPaw said, it's way more of something to be aware of on a 4 stroke than a 2 stroke.
