It is 6% alcohol (at least the stuff here in PA is) and is an alcohol/energy drink that is supposed to taste just like Red Bull. I've never tried it myself, but that is what one of my customers told me. Now you won't have to mix Red Bull and whatever in a glass because this comes pre-mixed in 16oz cans.

Why yes, I DO sell beer and malt beverages for a living now.

Well rockstars etc. being 2 bucks a pop, and a fifth of vodka being what, 25 or so, I'm sure that sparks is pretty far from cheap... Plus ya dont get to mix it to your own specs needed for the night.

I'll give it a try though. When I'm of age that is.

Well as a thumper buddy of mine said "you 2 stroke guys mix everything." I usually stop in the store to mix up some feul so i tend to buy gatorade and monster and mix them together and drink it down before i get to where im going, usually less than 20 min. away much further and im to hyper to sit in the truck.

No, Sparks isn't cheap.

And yes, wait until you're 21 to try it. If for no other reason than the penalties if you get caught under age are extremely severe, at least in this state. It just isn't worth the risk.

Guys I had some very sad news told to me yesterday. A good friend of my wife's lost her husband a couple of weeks ago at Muenster because of heat exhaustion!

In a nutshell he was riding with a couple of mates and they called it a day. He was feeling weak and tired and dehydrated so he said that he would chill out on his chair under the tree and drink his redbulls until he felt better then would drive home.

Well his other buddies left him and about 9.30-10.00 p.m. that evening one of his mates calls his house to find out how he was doing only to talk to his frantic wife as she has not heard from him.

They head back up to Muenster and find him still sitting in the shade where they had left him - dead.

After the autopsy the doc stated that he had drunk two red bulls and the spike in caffiene and sugar had put his heart into overload and he died.

the Doc advised that its better to rehydrate with water and gatorade than any type of redbull or monster and if one of your mates is not feeling well - STAY WITH THEM!

I only posted this as some of you are racing and still riding in this heat and to be honest I can honestly say that the heat exhaustion has hit me already this season and I had to pull out of a race.
It took me well over 40 minutes with a cold wet towel over my head, my shirt off, drinking cold ice water in the shade before I even felt semi-normal.

Please be careful out there and drink plenty of fluids before, during and after. Stay away from Caffiene!

brutal! i almost never drink energy drinks besides a cup of coffee ever so often, when im riding i judt drink water all day long, and maybe one gatorade

Indeed. I'm from PA as well. My sister (20) just lost her license for 90 days, as did my friend. But, that's what happens when you're stupid and irresponsible about it...

I've only ever tasted Redbull and V energy drinks.

Monster, Unbound, SOBE, RockStar aren't distributed here yet....
