Yea he sure has...and Im happy that he is. My whole point was that he's capable of more than he has done recently. Whatever it was I hope it lit a fire under his beret so we could see some great racing! Id love to see positions 1-5 competing for the flag instead of the leaders lapping up to 5th place.

To be honest, I dont' remember exactly, it was around the time McGrath just switched to Yamaha and he was badmouthing MC and America.

All I remember was it left a VERY bad taste in my mouth for the man.

I recall the same, nothing specific though, it was too long ago. I remember thinking that if it's so bad here, stop taking our money and go back.

When you chop it up like that, I don't think you get me. I never said I disliked DV. He is no spring chicken to this sport. He got in at an early age and has been luckey to avoid the BIG crash. If DV looses races the joke is he'll loose more hair. HA HA was to joke on the fact that HOT WIFES are expensive. Then again you may never get that one. I think his French persona was miss guided on the show. I believe BooKoo spun it that way...to prick DV. The straw Boss of that program was someone I know I couldn't work with. To be a scout of talent, to bring over riders that have the talent but not the name. Kids like himself 12yrs ago. He could place them under his wing as the I been there guy. I'm dun splanin 2 U.

No worries here. I've had enough contact with the guy to allow me to make my own opinion. Some people don't like me until they get to know me.

I found this clip mildly entertaining......DV does a couple practice laps and then a victory lap like he just won the SX title. I was cracking up.

Sometimes you have to visualize your goals to achieve them. Say what you want, when the guy wants to he can really flow on a Supercross track.
He's smooth when he's focused.

I wasn't bashing him. I just thought it was a bit funny, that's all. I think he may have been messing around for the camera or something too. Bottom line is it made me laugh, and that's always a good thing. He seemed smooth out there, but lacked that spark that you see when you watch RC or JBS. The "Attack Mode" just wasn't turned on.

Not to hijack the thread - BUT I like Tim Ferry [always have]. He is a class act and a good role model for the younger folks. He conducts himself in a professional and sincere way.

I wish him the best. I know ther are allot of good examples, but [for me] Tim Ferry just stands out.
