Default disneyland

Hi all! I'm gonna take my lovely wife and kids to Disneyland. She's so awesome and puts up with so much of my crap, especially when I don't do anything around the house. I really couldn't live without her and know she does a lot for me so this is a great way to show it. Any ideas on how to get discount tickets? Any ideas on great Christmas presents? I know I've got to start showing her I like her and stuff better! Any advice in that area?

Thanks

I'll be down there in a couple weeks and booked throught AAA. It looks like most are around the same price if you get a hotel and park package.

We usually stay at the howard johnsons and take the hotel bus to the park, but this year we're stayiong at the disneyland hotel and will ride the tram

Never been to Disneyland, been to Disneyworld more times then I care to count though. :

I always liked Epcot center alot more then the Disney park, but the kids dig it.

My advise, bring alot of money...you are going to need it.

Woody the only way to get any discount for Disneyland is by purchasing a hotel multiple day package. Disneyland does not have discounts on their tickets otherwise. Just go on the internet you will find the packages. You can also get them through a credit union if you belong. This is the time of the year to go as it will be slower than usual. The park does close earlier though.

Not sure if they still offer it or not, but you used to be able to get discount tickets if you knew someone in the armed services and could get them to buy tickets for you on base. Also, I'm not sure if they still offer it, but Disneyland used to have a So Cal resident discount for certain times of the year. The drawback is, you have to have some sort of I.D. with a So Cal zipcode on it...the upside is, there are lots of people waiting in line with something like that and are usually happy to help out.

LMAO... Ok, so now that's I've quit crying form laughing so hard (and a short call to my wife). I've got to admit, the poster of this thread WAS NOT ME Some how, while I was in the shower, my dearest wife high jacked my laptop and just started posting... I have to admit it's dang funny though.

However, what she posted is indeed true (well most of it anyway ).

We plan on being in SoCal (and surrounding area's) from Dec 10th - 18th. Partially for work, and the other part for vacation. We are hoping (okay, well, she and my boys are excited, I'm not so much , as I feel Disney land is a fraud, and costs waaaay too much for what you got , but that's an entirely different story since we're going anyway) to get a 2 day park pass for 2 adults and 4 children (one of which is under 1 year old so should be free).

Anyway, looks like I may have a hook up already, so thanks for the info.

Oh, and I will be dragging my CRF and the boys XR to SoCal, so I hope to do some riding as well (part of the agreement for me going to the fraud they call disneyland ).

i don't have anything to add to this post other than after realizing that your wife posted that first post and going back and reading it again, that's one of the funniest things i've read in a while. i don't encourage laptop hijacking, but if it's going to be done then do it right like woody_crf's wife did. that's classic!

DOH! I'll be riding in the temecula area (Lake Elsinore maybe, or maybe another track if we get daring). So hopefully the snow won't affect us there.

However, I've got a foot at my house now, so warm clothes we've got and can bring...

Sweet pic BTW!

i'd like to thank all of the great advice that was given before woody_crf blew my cover. i'd also like to thank my husband, my kids, my dog, my agent, and all my fans. j/k

if any of you have great ideas for christmas present (which he most always postpones til the last minute), a birthday gift - february (which he forgets), an anniversary (which he also postpones) and mothers day (which he would like to forget) i know he would greatly appreciate the information. maybe even a step-by-step plan. there's gotta be "the idiots guide to remembering your wife on her birthday, anniversary, mother's day, and christmas, AND how to like it" thingy out there. if not, gentlemen, i'm gonna be a millionaire!!
