![]() I would say go find yourself a 4 stroke. Pick a brand, head over to the dealer, and sit on a few bikes to see what fits you best. I wouldn't get a 125 as a beginner bike. Maybe something a bit less touchy till you get use to riding. Maybe a Honda XR 80-100 or a CRF 80-100. ![]() |

![]() i'm about the same size as you, and i have a RM 125, i can barely tip toe on it, so if this is going to be your first bike, i would not go w/ a 125 2 stroke, go w/ a 4stroke, crf230 would probaly be good. |

![]() Sweet heart what ever you do don't buy anything else but a HONDA. Pound for Pound the best bike you will ever own. Now I ride a 02 CR250 with many aftermarket piece's. I like the feel of a 2-stroke "2-stroke - or PINGER" bike better then a 4-stroke bike "4-stroke - or Thumper". It would probley be easier for you to ride a Thumper for your first bike, Honda has a great line of trail "CRF line" bike's that would fit you. Here is a direct sit to the Honda: http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycles/ I would probley recommend CRF230F or maybe a CRF150F, depending on how much of a Girl you are. If you Think you can handle a CRF230F you should probley think about maybe getting a CRF250R, or a CR125 Pinger. But then again I don't know many Girls that can handle a Motocross bike. |

![]() I think a 150F would be better for a begginer but on the other hand if you are daring then the 230 should be good too. |

![]() how fast do u want to go? I started on a four stroke, and I think i would have been better off on a pinger. And are you looking at new or used bikes? |

![]() You gotta let us know what your expectations and aspirations are. How aggressive are you? How much do you plan to spend? Dont forget to include about $500 for gear: $200+ for a helmet, another $200+ for boots, and another $70 or so for goggles and gloves. These are must have items for dirt biking on any level. Then theres optional gear (which I consider mandatory but JMO) like a chest protector about $100+, riding pants and a long sleeve jersey anywhere from $100 on up to $250.
