WOW that was really neat to be able to see the hole shot. Nicely done.
The track looks nice. Was it as loamy as it looked in the video?

Well the technical definition is "soil composed of sand, silt, and clay in relatively even concentration (about 40-40-20% concentration respectively)"

It looked like the soil stayed loose throughout the race day as apposed to places like Elsinore where its like riding on concrete. (You know, the kind of track that begins to develop the blue line)
All the turns in the vid looked nice and loose. Even the straights looked like they had some top soil.

That would be cool. Just remember I'm a old coot with a new hinge. I sure would like to do some laps out there. The track looks like they designed it to be safe yet, if you are, fast as well.

Congrats on your first race.
Breathing is extremely important when you race. I finally learned to "remind" myself to breathe after several times almost having to quit. If you can remember to take deep breaths from the very start you will be in much better control at the end of the moto. Especially when you first start to feel any fatigue whatsoever. Just start taking deep, deep, breaths and it will make a difference. Your muscles need oxygen plain and simple. Deep breathing is what gets the oxygen where it needs to be.
