WOW, nice holeshot dude!!! I can't wait for Duran and I's first race this weekend at Milestone! Now you got one up on us and the nerves are out of your system. Looks like your riding improved 10 fold since you probably didn't party the night before riding!! HAHAHA Dude, saturday is gonna be a blast! All we need is a number on our bikes right? Does it have to be a black number on a white background or will my white number on a black background be good to go?

If you are racing at Milestone, give them a call, they have a shop in the parking area that has all kinds of stuff, might even have some numbers.

I have a few races under my belt. One thing I noticed is the pins on the bottom and those little small plates on the gate always move first. Watch them instead of watching the actual gate. good luck all 3 of you. Hope you guys do well.

It definately was a fun track to ride! I just gotta pin it in second out of that right hand turn to clear that double!!! Kinda funny, cleared the huge table top, but that darn double was doing a number on my mind..Hopefully we can get a few practice laps in on Saturday morning. thanks for the info. about the pins and little plates on the starting gate. I just gotta remember to start in second gear this time!!! Just ask Duran about my starting in 1st gear at the sand drags in Glamis..HAHAHHA

Congrats on the first race. If your not doing anything this summer come race the last AMA sanctioned series in the state of Calif. The AMA So Cal Championship Motocross Series. Here is the schedule. Its a fun family atomosphere and a great way to get some racing experience without racing a high pressure series. You only need to make 6 of the 9 rounds to be eligable for series points and awards. All Division winners will reveive an AMA #1 Plate. There is classes for every age level and bike size. there is even classes for old bikes.

If you happen to make any of the races come find the yellow yamaha 450 with the 393 number plates on it and say hi!

Its actually 9 rounds over 7 weekends starting at Comp edge in Hesperia. Its a very fun series and pretty easy on the pocket book at 35.00 for the first race and 30.00 for a second class in the same day. You only need an AMA membership no other series memberships required. I will be at every round so make sure to ask questions if you have any. My wife does the scoring for all rounds and I am the points steward this year.

We love this series because its such a family oriented series.
