Default mx life

Well not quite. This is max (ddfh_4_life).. I raced yesterday, and got very lucky...Heres what I wrote in a differant forum.

Well guys, I would say I am one of the lucky ones. Yesterday, i went for a 100+foot uphill triple, and cased it hard. I dnf'ed the first moto due to it, but was pretty much fine. My whole point of writing this, is cause of the death rate seems to be going up, and tracks seem to not care. Jumping 100 feet out, 15-20 feet up can be easily fatal if you crash. But, the way this track is(Pagoda) is actually very safe, despite all the jumps, which are in general 60+feet. They have numerous table tops, and a couple very big triples. But, the triples are downhill, or uphill, or with a tabletop landing. Also, the last part of the triple is kinda tapered off. I have at one time or another cased most of the jumps there, but walked away, or kept riding. A lot of tracks are not like this. Even a table top wont do jack crap, if it isnt set up right. Ones out of turns, can be dangerous, or ones with to many lines that can get you crossrutted. This track is excellent. Great big fast hits...that wont kill you. Maybe because the have experianced this?

Anyways. The real point is, pick and choose your tracks wisely. And then ride to your ability. I was sorta showing off, for our movie we are trying to make, and got in over my head. Luckily, I, nor anyone else got hurt cause of this. So defintitly keep you ability, to where it belongs. I know you all have read this many times, but nothing wakes you up more, then a near death experiance that you can look back on...

Now, to everyone who isnt as fortunate (jim, satch, etc) get well soon!!!

So you cased a jump.... near death?

Coming up short or overjumping is a fact of motocross. Its gonna happen. You might get injured. In a freak accdient, you might get killed. Same thing will happen when you are riding fast through the woods... you might smack a tree doing 40mph.

As long as tracks dont build em so its an immediate hospital ride if you come up just a little short, its fine with me.

OK, not near death. But very well coulda been crippling or a bad injury. Either way, you get the point..I think. I was perfectly fine, other then soreness, and my finger. The point of the post was, I am fine, after casing a rather large jump. Something that a lot of tracks arent doing is having jumps like that. An 80' stepoff double, supposedly breaks 6 backs a race. So, pick and choose the tracks that are setup right, and keep to your ability is alls I was saying.
