Default Curious what bikes are going for in your area

I have access to Motorsports auctions across the nation and am finding that I can get bikes locally (with some exceptions) from local, individual sellers for as cheap (or cheaper) than I can get bikes through the auctions. It got me wondering why dealers are paying the money they are at the auctions, unless bikes are just cheaper here?

I'm curious what you can pick up bikes in your area for from an individual seller in your local ads.

2007 250F's are generally between $2,400 - $3,200 depending on condition/hours and what extras they have. The ones listed for more than that just sit. Kawi's and Honda's are the cheapest.

What can you pick up a 2007 250F up for in your area?

That's about what they're going for around here too. Although the Kawi's seem to be going for more than the other brands.

You can pick up leftover '08's for right around $4000-4500.

I rode an '08 kx450f the other day... loved it. I guess when Effie finally gives up the ghost, she'll be getting a 290 kit.

Those prices seem about right for here, maybe a tad high. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for $4500 not too far from me.

I also saw an '07 KTM 250SXF (brand new) in WY for $4,900.
