Default CR 250 03'

     

Alright, fitted new plug, air cleaner and FMF packing to adjust carb.
The thing is bogging.adjust airscrew in out(bogging) adjust needle clip up down (bogging).

Now i have removed the airscrew and its running good well the best it's ever run , can anyone tel me where to start looking..

Needle 6BEH1-73
Slide 4.0
Main 180 / 633 S-9
Pilot 35

Can you tell us what jetting you have in there now? We'll need to know elevation and temperature (for normal riding) before we can really be of much help.

Pilot, Main, and Needle clip position (as well as needle number).

If you do a search you will find a lot of information on here about the CR250. I would pay special attention to anything by Faded as he really had his CR250 dialed in and knows a lot about jetting.

If you have the air screw removed and it is better, then it is obviously jetted waaay to rich.... I am not sure if the '03 had the same problems as the '01 did in that it came from the factory so rich that it wouldn't even clean itself out or not? Going on the info you have provided, you are too rich, or need to do some serious cleaning.

Pilot and air screw deal with the first 1/4 throttle, so you really need to go more lean on the pilot if having the Air Screw all the way out helps.
