Default CDI Remapping

Recently bought a 08 KTM 250SX that the guy upgraded with the 300SX bolt-on kit. I typically convert MX bikes into woods bikes and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of sending in a CDI to have it remapped to the XC ignition curve? I asked the local dealership and they couldn't really give me an answer.

I guess if your CDI has a virus, you know who to send it to!
Sorry Dirt...I can't answer your question.

I don't have much experience with the tuning side of things, but this popped into my head: IF the connections to the CDI boxes are the same, perhaps you may be able to just plug in the desired CDI.
