I got home last night from work & reset the thremostat from A/C to heat.

It droped from 72% at 8am to low 40's by 9am!

about 4am I was freezing! Look at the thermostat & it was blank! no readout at all, changed batteries & it said was 60%

I reset it for heat & 73%, dang digital thremostat!

Vet, you can keep it. It just got above freezing here and the ice is melting. Maybe I'll be able to go to the store soon.

My thoughts exactly.

We are at 29 right now, no snow like Vet but cold and very windy.

I wish we got snow! Ice is all we get and it's a whole lot different than driving on snow. One of the funniest stories was when the last company I worked for bought a new company from Virginia and those guys kept laughing at us saying dumb Texans can't drive on snow. Wellll, the first ice storm found 3 of them in a ditch as we drove by. I was behind one guy and he was doing doughnuts in the road before hitting the bar ditch. They never lived that one down.
