Default broke my clavicle

myself and a 6 other buddies were out riding yesterday in our favorite spot.
i know the area fairly well... but this time, some farmer or (a$$hole) decided to put up a barbed wire gate in the middle of a prairie trail that leads to nowhere and there are no cows, nothing stated about no tresspassing, and there was no ribbon or flag hanging off the barbed wire to make it noticable from a distance. no one uses the trail accept for us dirt bikers and the land owner.

i was in 5th gear ripping down the prairie trail, i was in front of the pack leading everyone. When all of the sudden i see a barbed wire gate in the middle of nowhere.

so i locked up both brakes and then panicked and dove off the bike.

i tryed to low side the bike, but i ended up high siding the bike and landing on my shoulder. and snapped it like a twig.

so here i lie on my couch for the next week or 2 recovering.

dude that sucks. Best wishes on a full and speedy recovery. We used to run into stuff like that every now and then. People used to build huge trenches on the fire roads. I used to lead a lot too, Lucky I didn't end up getting jacked .

Best of luck to you.

Sorry to hear of Your injury and glad it's not worse
But that's why You should always run site laps
things change on trails and idiots do stupid stuff
like put up fences that will kill You if your not cautious
and you just learned this the hard way

Sounds like you were you on private property, is that the case?
If so have you ever talked to the land owner?

Sorry you see you got hurt but if you were on private property, that is a risk you take by not scouting the route beforehand.

On a side note, this is a family oriented forum and I don't necessarily appreciate your language in your post either. And, your location is **** you? I won't even hazard aguess where that is.
