Default BRAKE PEDEL ADJUSTMENT

I have a 1999 CR250 and recently installed a new disc and pads in the rear. Now I have EXTREME stopping power, HOWEVER, the brake pedal is too low and i'm unable to operate it safely and easily from the upright position without having to take a foot off the peg and really point my toe down. Does anyone know how to adjust the break pedal level to a more upright friendly position?? In other words bring it up about 1/2 inch or so?? Any help would br greatly appreciated.
